Privacy notice

The website and any personal data sent through it are the responsibility of 蔡竹飛 - Jarmo van Rooij · FeiShe Technology Consulting 飛蛇科技顧問, Taipei, Taiwan. FeiShe Technology Consulting 飛蛇科技顧問 is the trade name under which I work; it is not yet a registered company, so I am personally the data controller.

When you use the contact form or send an email, I receive your name, organization, email address and the message you write. I use this only to reply to your inquiry and, if we decide to work together, to prepare and carry out that work.

I do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list. Please do not include confidential business data or sensitive personal data in a first message; we can agree how to share that later.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the legal basis is the steps you ask for before a possible contract and my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Your message passes through the services that run this website and my email: the website host, the form service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) that delivers the contact form to my inbox, and my email provider (Google Gmail). They process it on my behalf and may store it on servers outside Taiwan, including in the United States. Nobody else receives it, unless the law requires it.

The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that connection.

Inquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 12 months after the last contact. If we work together, the correspondence is kept for as long as the project and applicable accounting or legal obligations require.

Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (Art. 3) you can ask to see, copy, correct or complete your data, to stop its collection, processing or use, and to have it deleted. If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights to restriction, objection and data portability, and you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.

This notice may be updated when the website or the business changes, for example when FeiShe is registered as a company. The date at the top shows the latest version.
